... zumindest hat man bei den Atlantics mal einen Schedule zusammengebastelt, ob die allerdings nochmal auf die Beine kommen ... verwirrt

leider sind die Atlantics zum Scherz verkommen. Mit einem so kleinen Starterfeld werden die 2010 kaum an den Start gehen können, zumal Newman-Wachs und Brooks die Serie ziemlich sicher verlassen haben.

Schade schade, sind eigentlich coole Boliden

Es ist natürlich problematisch für eine Nachwuchsserie, wenn siue nicht zielführend ist oder ein Werk als Unterstützer hat.
Wohin kommt man denn mit dem Atlantics-Titel? Nascar? Nein! F1? Nein! Wenn man zu den IndyCars will, muss man zu den IndyLights oder in die neu gegründete F2000, die ja hauptsächlich auf Straßenkursen fährt und somit so eine Art neue Formula Atlantic ist.

Muss ich auch sagen, die Atlantis wirken nicht so cool, eher so gestutzt, a bissl wie diese Micky-Mouse-Autos in den Freizeitparks.
Während die Lights wirklich flach, fett und vollwertig wirken.

Insofern werde ich die Atlantics auch gar nicht so sehr vermissen.

Atlantics: 2.3l 4R 300hp vs. IRL Light: 3.5l V8 420hp

Die Atlantics waren schon immer unterhalb den Lights angesiedelt weshalb sie sowohl optisch als auch akustisch etwas geduckter wirken ... sind eben zwei vollkommen verschiedene Klassen.

aber es waren eben die einstigen Aufstiegsklassen in die jeweilige Hauptliga. Insofern kann man schon mal Äpfel mit Birken vergleichen. Da wäscht die eine Hand der andern keine Katze ab...

Aber es wäre echt schade um die Atlantics, sind sie doch die Nachwuchsserie die in Amerika die meisten der jetzigen Fahrer rausgebracht hat. Die Indy Lights haben nur einen Aj Foyt IV oder ähnliche Fahrer hervorgebracht. Da waren die Atlantics doch "etwas" besser.
